Starman - Limited Edition

The idea for 'Starman' came to me on David Bowie's birthday in 2021. I had such a clear vision for a new 'Wilderness of Kitsch' piece, my last being 'Lana Americana' from 2013. I just had to find all the elements and recreate what I had in my mind within my photography studio. I staged a tableau using a combination of cardboard cut-outs and objects referencing Bowie's life and music. Many of them are pretty obvious, from his lyrics etc, I'll let you figure them all out! It was painted in 2023

It is a signed Limited Edition Giclée on Somerset Velvet 330gsm paper with a silkscreen varnish, image size 80x53.5cm, paper size 90x63.5cm. This is an edition of 100 & comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
