“You Are Enough” was crafted using Procreate, undergoing numerous iterations to perfect the dots. 2,004 dots form this artwork, carefully counted to the best of my ability! It's printed on Canson Infinity, 310gsm 100% cotton museum-grade paper, with a smooth texture reminiscent of authentic etching and printmaking papers.
Samarivans holds a deeply personal significance to me, as I've been by Sarah's side during some of the most challenging phases of her mental health journey, and I feel privileged to call her my friend. The grey dots adorning the campervan mirror the experiences of those who battle with feelings of detachment from reality. In contrast, the vibrant coloured dots embody a supportive network, conveying a powerful message of reassurance: "You are enough."
