I’m honoured to be a part of this amazing initiative and raising awareness to such an important organisation as the Samaritans. I have been struggling with depression and anxiety for over fifteen years and I know how emotional support is crucial. I am Natália Durães, a Brazilian woman, immigrant, feminist, who has been living in the UK for over three years. I'm an art enthusiast, I work with Graphic Design for over ten years and as a hobby/side job I do calligraphy and lettering. I am also passionate about literature, and I’ve found in this quote by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie a boost to do this art challenge. As I'm not a painter – yet –, I was apprehensive but Chimamanda's words came in handy, giving a special touch to the art.
