021 - Melissa Canappele - NOAHS VAN
I used fineliner pens and my waterbased face paints to create my 'Noahs Van' for the Samarivans fundraiser.
I wanted to do something a bit different and loved the idea of drawing hope and joy from nature and animals which always gives me pleasure when feeling low.
Samaritans are a life saving charity for some and a calm and reassuring voice who listen for others. I have called them myself when I suffered almost debilitating perimenopausal symptoms such as sleep deprivation and anxiety and having that listening ear really helped me put things in perspective. I feel that everybody should have the telephone number saved in their phone to use in a dark moment or share with a friend in need, the Samaritan volunteers are really special individuals.
