113 - Kim Prints

Kim works with print and paint; her paintings are a physical expression of the present moment in time while her prints examine the past and future, illustrating remembered and imagined places. Her Samarivan incorporates both elements, Sarah’s stencil a prompt for a linocut recollecting childhood trips, the print finished with natural materials bringing it into the present.

Kim completed an MA in Illustration and Book Arts at Cambridge School of Art in 2020 and was shortlisted for the Sustainability Art Prize. She teaches widely and is setting up a sustainable community organisation focused on healing and wellbeing through the arts.
