Acrylic on canvas board
I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed and unable to cope since depression, anxiety and symptoms of complex PTSD have featured prominently for several generations in my family.
I lost a friend to suicide in 2008 and there’s never a day that goes by when I don’t think about him (he did my colourful tattoos so there’s always a reminder!) and I can’t help but wish he had reached out for the amazing support organisations like The Samaritans offer rather than suffering in silence. The Samaritans has been a literal lifeline to other friends and I know the incredible difference it can make to talk in confidence without fear of judgement.
