Ken Willoughby is a portrait artist from Sheffield, drawing since he could hold a pencil.
Ken was greatly inspired by the old masters, enough to achieve his master's degree in fine art, he specialises in realistic soft graphite portrait's, Pencil has always been his preferred medium, although with having over 30 years experience with soft graphite, he has tried many medium, too which he has yet to master.
Ken always encapsulates every detail possible with each tiny stroke of the pencil . He loves the extensive process and reward behind watching his work emerge with every layer of pencil .
