I used oil paints and a medium called Liquin, to help drying speed of the paints. The title SamHALivan is a joke - the VW sign being replaced by the “eye” of HAL 9000, a computer who takes over the controls of a spaceship in the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey

Bio
I studied painting at Byam Shaw School of Art in London in the 1970’s I went on to work in the feature film industry in the art dept as everything from a location photographer, draughtswoman, prop designer/maker, set painter and art director. I returned to oil painting as my family grew. I am now designing and making jewellery
