139 - Justine Holt - LE CAMPING-CAR

Collage and Acrylic Medium.
For my Samarivan I dug out an old school exercise book, subject French circa 1983, which back then I’d covered in an off-cut of 1970s wallpaper. The cover was marked with biro where I’d doodled over the pattern of the flowers, forty years later I chose to carry on its transformation by disassembling, painting and collaging the book for my Samarivan. Bon voyage le camping-car.

Having studied Fine Art Painting in Canterbury, I graduated in 1993 and now live and work in West Berkshire
