114 - Danny Pearson - GNASHERVAN

114 - Danny Pearson - GNASHERVAN

Description

Abyssinian Wire-Haired Tripe Hound Fur / Felt / Glue / Card / Googly eyes.

I was honoured to be asked to help with this project right at its very conception. Sarah is a creative powerhouse and has inspired any army of creatives to be part of this amazing adventure - Samarivans!
My Samarivan (Gnashervan) was born out of fun. It combines a sense of mischief and play, things that are sometimes slowly eroded as we grow older or find ourselves in a difficult time. Fun can also be lost as the dark clouds of despair and adulthood fog our minds. It’s so important to talk and to reach out to people, like the Samaritans, who can help clear those clouds. I wanted my piece to reach in and find the fun inside its viewer.
It’s been a pleasure to be able to work with such gifted and mighty people. Look at what’s been created and the impact it’s had on everyone this project has touched… so far.
Truly inspiring and inspirational. Another step forward in our continuous journey to spread creative mischief!
"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." - Dr. Seuss
