Bio
After many years 'hobby' painting, considered by Hible to be his art education, he went full-time and quickly established a professional reputation, showing in a string of exhibitions and winning awards along the way - including the Richard Attenborough Prize. His paintings are sought after by collectors, with work in public and private collections worldwide.
Hible's latest, ongoing collection 'Life's a Game' depicts ultra close-up views of board games in progress. Due to the scale, and utilisation of dramatic lighting focusing attention on a small area, the viewer is transported into the game and invited to see aspects of human life being played out on the game board.
