074 - Belinda Robertson - Textile Artist at 'Cleo & Bel' - LOVE IS…..
I've called my Samarivan "Love is…." as it's full of my favourite bright colours, flowers and a cat! (Should have put chocolate on too)!
I'm extremely honoured to be part of this project as Mental Health issues are very close to my heart - with family members being affected by metal health issues.
Bio
After a childhood of art and crafting with my grandmother and then my mother, a fullfilling career in the NHS and early retirement, I took up my textile arts again about 5 years ago and have never looked back. In fact today I craft, paint, sew or crochet almost daily now….it’s my 'fix' and I love it! My main textile art craft is a free-form or free motion embroidery - it's drawing with a needle. And this is the technique I have used for my 'Samarivan'. My website is named after a shortened version of my name (Belinda = Bel) and my rescue deaf cat Cleo
